About Us
Pillars Of Truth Ministry
We started the Ministry very humbly on December 17th 2005, at Dam Road, Longdenville, with just about 18 persons in a rented 12 x 12 store-room. Since then, we have acquired our own property and have erected a Church Structure inclusive of car-park facilities. The Lord has increased our membership to over 1,000 from 2021 to 2024, and He continues to do a mighty work among us. The past Eighteen (18) years of our existence as a ministry in this vineyard, has been filled with its share of pain and joy, however, I emphatically believe that Ministry Is Hard Work.
Presently, we are covering Four (4) Churches (Diego Martin, Petit Valley, Montrose & Cunupia). We have Religious Instruction at several schools throughout the Central Region. We have extended our sanctuary, ordained five Lay Ministers and six Pastors. We have also blessed many homes with our food hamper distribution program and we are televised weekly on two (2) local television stations. We have also branched out into Radio Programs in St. Vincent & Nigeria. We constructed a Pre-School/Day-Care which opened in January, 2023.
With 35 active ministries in the local church, the lives of thousands were touched by our Ministry as we remain “A Church in the Heart of a Community with a Heart for the Community”. As a church, we are committed to our community, by dealing with issues such as poverty reduction, academic improvement for our young people, and skill development courses for adults, teaching them to become marketable and self-sufficient.
We have since established “The Cynthia Payne Life Centre” for which we now offer many courses in skill development and also counselling in many different areas of life. We believe this will help us to better serve our community and environs, and further re-enforce our commitment to developing the holistic man.
Our vision is to continue reaching out to our community in a relevant and realistic way, Evangelizing, Equipping, and Empowering thereby Expanding the Kingdom of God.
